Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Helper/Loader
- Loading/Unloading: Manually loading and unloading trailers with bulk or individual cases of product.
- Order Selection: Picking products to fulfill customer orders, often using an automated Voice Pick system.
- Pallet Building: Constructing stable, secure, and accurate pallets of products for delivery trucks.
- Stock Organization: Sorting, arranging, and storing goods, and performing product rotation to ensure freshness.
- Equipment Operation: Operating power pallet jacks or forklifts to move products (training is often provided).
- Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning up spills and disposing of trash.
Key Responsibilities: Production Helper
- Production Line Support: Assisting with the production line, including feeding raw materials into machinery and removing finished products.
- Packaging: Operating or assisting with packing and labeling machines.
- Quality Checks: Performing basic, routine inspections to identify damaged or defective products.
- Sanitation: Cleaning and sanitizing production areas and equipment.
Physical Demands and Requirements
- Lifting: Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items (often up to 50-60 lbs) repetitively for 8–10 hours a day.
- Environment: Comfortable working in varied temperatures, such as cold storage or warm production floors.
- Schedule: Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Age: Usually requires being 18 years or older.
